Ever since he first announced himself to the industry as a bright-eyed 17-year-old in 2011, Englishman Archy Marshall or King Krule has remained difficult to pin down both in terms of personality and musical style. Fusing together elements of punk jazz, blues, trip hop and dub, his latest single from new album The Ooz revels in the dark, elusive elements of his musical style to deliver a track that intrigues and excites.

The London-based duo have carved out their own deep, chilled take on electronic music, and this vibe was taken to a new level on recent single “Just Dance” when British producer Salute got his hands on it. Known for his fusing of R&B, soul, and house, Salute transforms the original into something completely fresh.

The latest single from Aaron Maine’s synth-pop project veers away from the impressive electronic sophistication of 2016’s Pool towards a subtle, stirring sound in new single “Country”. The track is charged with Maine’s signature melancholic falsetto and also features Blood Orange a.k.a Dev Hynes on backing vocals. Hynes and Maine also co-direct the Lynchian video for the song which is also worth checking out.
