We’ve made it to 2018, and what a journey it’s been. Whether you’ve spent the start of the year hibernating from the cold, the thought of heading back to work or from the fact that Trump has somehow made it to a year into his presidency, if you’re like us you will most likely have missed much of January’s goings-on while trying to ease yourself out of your start-of-the-year lethargy. To assist with this process, Athens-based archiver Michael Kardamakis has spent the last few years sourcing rare pieces from that period, researching each piece's unique history and exploring what makes them special. The result? A nostalgic remaking of the brand’s iconic Greene Street store set-up during Paris Fashion Week Men’s showcasing five complete archive looks.

Here, i-D chat to Michael Kardamakis about the archive, Lang’s lasting influence and his own process in gathering the pieces.
