November: The Articles to Read this Month
November: a month of fireworks, knitwear and, of course, (whisper it) Black Friday. In January this year, an announcement was made that shook the fashion world: Alexandra Shulman was to step down from her position as editor-in-chief of British Vogue after 25 years in the role. The result is non-binding, but it sends prime minister Malcolm Turnbull a strong message. Dazed sat down with Australia’s young LGBTQI+ community to find out how they feel about the vote, activism and their experiences. Read the full article here.
With an impressive CV that list WWE, The Guardian, Channel 4 and Unicef amongst a list of clients, Manchester-based illustrator, author and podcast host Ben Tallon is a bit of a force to be reckoned with – not to mention hugely talented. He just so happens to be a lovely bloke (and a bit of a potty mouth), as we found out when we went to speak to him ahead of him taking over Coggles with his Christmas critters.
