AW20 Style Notes with Sarah Louise Blythe

Sarah's styling talents aren't only limited to her career in interior design, giving us outfit inspiration over on her Instagram feed daily. After working in the industry for 13 years, Sarah has undeniable talents in creating lust worthy aesthetics both in her home and her wardrobe. Sarah showcases her love for fashion, interiors and travel on her eponymous blog, updated with must-have pieces each week. We asked Sarah to give us a run down of her AW20 style notes and why she chose each piece from this seasons collection.

I’d say my AW20 style is classic, but I love that one statement piece that elevates an outfit. I also enjoy a real high‐low mix in my outfits, mixing classic designer pieces with high street, I feel as if I can really make it my own that way. I’m loving a baggy leg jean and loafer teamed with a big oversized coat or blazer. Chunky boots and of course, I’m also on the knitted vest bandwagon! Joggers and a shirt for that effortless WFH look.

Fashion is always an ongoing experiment, but I am trying to be more conscious of purchasing pieces that have longevity so naturally I turn to more classic shapes and styles rather than print. My wardrobe is very tonal, I naturally gravitate to more earthy colours. This makes it easier to evolve different looks from the same pieces. Each new item I invest in always adds something different to those pre‐existing staples.

I love the Isabel Marant jumper and wide leg Simon Millerjeans look with the pillow bag and chunky Eytysboots. The shoulders of the jumper & accessories are so statement it gives a real chic edge to what is essentially a low‐key outfit. The wool chunky knit and bold motif across the chest sets it apart. I’ve teamed with a great pair of denim jeans that fit really well; One of my main rules of advice is always to invest in good quality denim! I’ve paired it with a chunky boot and this signature pillow bag which are both really on trend this season It’s a perfect outfit for a daytime look.

AW20 Style Notes with Hues of White

Known for her impeccable taste, attention to detail and flair for styling, Santina shows us how she'll be transitioning into the cooler months with her AW20 style notes as she takes us through three of her favourite looks from Coggles new season offering.

*The* De La Validress is my favourite piece – I have always wanted one! So beautifully made and the neckline is just stunning! Comfort is key in 2020 and whilst I really want to play dress up in this De La Veli Dress, sadly Cinderella has no ball to go to, so I’ve teamed with boots for a paired down look. I love the clash of pattern so naturally gravitated to this BY Far bag for an eclectic mix! The dress is perfect for party season whether we are in or out this year I’m definitely getting dressed up for some feelgood glam!

Barbourhas to be an all‐time classic! A ‘wrap’ style quilted coat is really on trend this AW20, and I’m in love with this gorgeous autumnal hunter green. In true signature ‘me’ style I’ve teamed with a basic jeans and t‐shirt look elevated with accessories and of course that coat which just makes it.

Ganni has to be one of my favourite designers, I am always looking to them for inspiration and this oversized collar just keeps on giving this year. I’m really into the daintiness of a floaty dresses paired with the masculinity of a chunky boot. If I was leaving the house, I would have layered a knit underneath the dress.
