A really simple and easy DIY, this concept can be used for storing all kinds of things in the home, and the design is directional and stylish. DIY blog Vintage Revivals posted a tutorial which used fabric from an old leather sofa to create a new cushion cover, complete with that worn-in, slightly weathered look.
