A Luxurious Amsterdam Loft
Set in a former school from the late 1800s, this spacious, luxurious Amsterdam loft is in the heart of the city. Featuring an old brick wall, ceiling beams and parquet flooring, this loft manages to incorporate the history of the building with a contemporary, minimalist style.
The loft has an industrial feel to it, with factory windows lining the exterior making it light and airy, unfinished concrete walls, a mixture of raw woods, and mismatched pendant lighting. It’s the finishing touches that turn this industrial place into a home, though, and a great place to experience a slice of Amsterdam life. Cowhide rugs, a huge sinkable grey sofa, a vintage red Vespa and interesting art interspersed along the walls, make this loft as stylish as it is homely.
The real treat, though, is the master bedroom. Upon entry is a dedicated dressing area with no less than six wardrobes, sitting next to an open bathroom with beautifully tiled flooring. Up a few steps lies a big white bed, while out of the large French doors is a simple, but equally as stylish, roof terrace with views across the city.
