A perfect combination of beauty and function, Ett Hem in Stockholm is a home away from home. Built in 1920, the townhouse is situated in a peaceful part of Stockholm is steeped in Scandinavian design. In the transformation from residence to hotel was a delicate and considerate process with owner Jeanette Mix at the helm, and interior designer Ilse Crawford at her side.

Ett Hem is essentially a home, updated with the best collection of Scandinavian furniture, antiques and design, where guests are treated as friends.

The kitchen is at the heart of Ett Hem with the freshest possible produce taking centre stage. The food is so fresh that there isn’t a standard menu, it is decided upon each morning and changes daily. For a little insight into the food on offer, take a look at their instagram, maybe don’t look at this if you’re hungry though... Imagine staying with a family member (with incredibly good taste) and that is Ett Hem, you’ll be free to roam as you please but will also be completely taken care of. Dine in the kitchen for laid back luxury, in the library for a more formal setting or in the greenhouse.

Tackling the year season by season, Ett Hem tailors their offering to suit the weather. Within the current Autumn season, they are happy to arrange activities from the opera to a horse back hike. Their menu also changes with the time of year, adapting to the fresh produce that is available.
