The Eastpak adventure began in 1952, when backpacks and bags were created from the highest quality durable fabrics to withstand US military use. In the ‘70s, Eastpak began to become a household name as the bags were taken ‘out of the woods and into the city’, often spotted on the shoulders of East Coast college students, and in 1985 they became renowned for their use of quirky prints and bold colours.
