For more than 140 years, Grenson has been handcrafting traditional brogues, boots and shoes from its Northampton factory. Founded in 1866 by William Green, all Grenson shoes (except moccasins) are Goodyear Welted; each pair of shoes involves over 200 individual operations and takes eight weeks to complete. This technique involves stitching the sole to the welt, providing durability, support, and the ability to resole the shoes.

Having remained a family business, Grenson has a reputation for producing high-quality footwear that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. The brand's commitment to quality has contributed to its enduring success.
