Copenhagen Fashion Week: Baum und Pferdgarten SS16
The beautiful surroundings of Langelinie overlooking the ocean was where we discovered Baum und Pferdgarten SS16. The wooden clad space exuded the subtle '70s theme that ran through the collection, a trend that show no sign of wavering into the new season.
Not content with channeling just one era, Baum und Pferdgarten opted for a classic approach with delicate lace, feminine detailing and embroidery reminiscent of decades gone by. Directly contrasting this with bold two piece suits in cobalt blue and monochrome graffiti style lettering, alongside boxy, over sized jackets.
The contrasting themes came together in harmony with layered lace, silk and structured fabrics in shades of cream, black, pink, burgundy, black and burnt orange.
Stand out looks include a wide legged, striped silk one piece layered with a rich, chocolate brown long line silk jacket as well as head to toe white layered lace, silk and fine knits.
