The JW Anderson AW18 Lookbook

Northern-Irish designer Jonathan Anderson has pushed his brand in the direction of functional fashion for this AW18 collection. Established in 2008, JW Anderson has incorporated a nautical/military inspired theme into the menswear collection. Producing a characteristic yet practical line, he showcases thick cable knits, crew necks, matching scarves and unconventional pocket placements. Our previous London Fashion Week overview of the brand reports a “classic take on menswear” with just the right amount of fashion and functionality. For women, modern creative prints are employed throughout, pairing contrasting patterns and utilising ombré gradients to create dimension. The nautical theme is prevalent within womenswear too, encompassing blue shades, overlapping patches, stripes and shoulder buttons.
