London Fashion Week Men’s: Oliver Spencer SS19
In his SS19 collection, named ‘Wildflower’, Oliver Spencer brought a slice of British heritage to the runway in the form of a countryside theme. With set design by iconic nature artist Wolfgang Buttress, the scene was set with a spring colour video playing out British wildflowers such as Poppies and Daisies whilst models emerged through a tulle veil guided by gusts of mellow yet powerful music.
A hippie inspired, bucolic atmosphere hung over the runway as a refreshing lightweight collection was displayed on the designer’s ever diverse selection of models. Although harking back to the Woodstock era’s take on environmental awareness, the theme was deeper routed in the collection with all garments made from organic cotton.
Follower of street style trends by the dozen, you'll rarely catch me in anything but trainers. Accessories and outerwear are my calling, and in my eyes there's no such thing as overdoing them.
