About Sleeper

Founded in 2014 by former fashion editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa, Sleeper initially launched its first collection with just a single seamstress. In two months, then editor-in-chief of Vogue Italy Franca Sozzani named Sleeper brand of the month.

Moving quickly to a bigger space, the Kyiv-based brand’s nightwear-inspired looks using natural fabrics soared in popularity. Starting with its linen collection it was soon followed by its first bridal collection which consisted of slip dresses, pyjama sets and loungewear dresses. By 2019, the duo made it into the Forbes 30 under 30 and have continued to grow since Sleeper through unprecedented times.
