Celebrating our Northern roots, this season we are proud to share a capsule collection in collaboration with one of our favourite brands, AMI. Taking inspiration from the landscape around us and combining it with the French labels' prominent designs, here's everything you need to know about the Coggles xAMI Paris collaboration.
The name AMI, the French word for friend, plays with the initials of the brand founder, Alexandre Mattiussi. AMI captures a particular type of the French capital's nonchalance, one that is relaxed, authentic and friendly, something that aligns perfectly with our ethos.
Blurring the boundaries between casual and chic, the Coggles x AMI Paris collaboration offers stylish and comprehensive wardrobes for men and women.
With a keen interest in nature and being outdoors, we looked to our base in the North of England for inspiration. The Lake District is only a short drive away from our office. An area we liked to escape to from the city and the daily grind. This really informed the early concepts of the collection using the colours we saw around us. The rich green hills and with a little digging discovered the area had a rich history of slate mining. After further conversations, we uncovered shared interests in inclusivity and the development of Ami’s sustainable product range. Ami was able to add their design magic to develop these early ideas into a collection.- Head of Buying at Coggles, Ryan HaynesThe limited edition 13-piece Coggles X AMI Paris collaboration has been designed with the changing season in mind.
