DIY Flower Gift Wrap

This Mother's Day, surprise your mum with a beautifully-wrapped bouquet of flowers to go along with her gift. This DIY is quick and easy but will put a personal touch to your Mother’s Day gifts this year; using just a few materials, you can put it together on Sunday morning and have it ready by lunch time.

Snip the flowers to the length you desire (depending on the size of the gift this could be just below the bloom, or halfway down the stem).

Gather together a few flowers, take a long piece of twine or ribbon and wrap it around the stems a few times; tie with a double knot to secure. Make sure you leave excess twine or ribbon for tying around the parcel.

For the gift tag, use a little glue to affix flower heads to the gift tag itself. Slip a little twine through the hole in the gift tag.

Wrap twine around your gift then use the excess twine or ribbon to attach your gift tag.
