The Canada Goose 'Expedition' parka is the original extreme weather parka developed for scientists working in McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
Made from durable Artic Tech fabric with wind and water-resistant properties, the ultra-warm, mid-thigh length coat has been specially designed to keep you dry in extreme conditions and climates. An adjustable down-filled hood with removable fur trim provides warmth and element protection, enhanced further with a shaping wire which helps to keep the hood in place even in strong winds. Designed with a high pile fleece-lined chin guard, two-way central zip fastening with Velcro closure and storm flap, and recessed rib-knit cuffs to lock in heat.
A host of carefully considered details enhance the jacket's performance in cold weather, including a hide-away nylon elasticised snow skirt for added coverage and protection, and an interior drawcord to the waist which enables you to retain warmth while creating a customised fit. Also features interior backpack straps for hands-free carrying and a webbing grab strap at upper back with 'Expedition' emblem patch. Six exterior pockets complete the design: four double entry pockets with zip and Velcro closure, and two utility pockets to sleeves with Velcro closure.
