Stine Goya Women's Jasmine Tiered Mini Dress - Aqua

Inspired by the radical art of Moki Cherry, a Swedish surrealist, Stine Goya AW20 explores artistic rebellion. The passionate nature of Cherry’s work is expressed through the textured fabric, a light and crisp material realised in a daring shade of aqua green.

Experimenting with volume, the design boasts a bold silhouette, exaggerating traditional feminine forms to break away from convention. Although the v-neckline and fitted bodice radiate classic femininity, the extravagant tiered skirt experiments with form, distorting and reimagining long-established shapes to create something new. Elements of contrast are central to this piece, offsetting the high ruffled neck with a short, mini length to ensure the dress doesn’t overpower the figure. Finally, balloon sleeves emphasise this theme of flamboyance to embolden the silhouette, finished with cinched, button-up cuffs.
