Swedish-born label, Eytys, take the chunky trainer trend to the next level with their ‘Halo’ design. Pronounced ‘80s, the brand’s choice of spelling pays homage to Generation Y and draws inspiration from that period. Since launching with a single shoe model, the brand became known for pushing boundaries, leading to the almost alien ‘Halo’ design.

Taking chunky trainers to another dimension, the shoe’s large jagged outsole accentuates its otherworldly silhouette, complemented by the arrow-like panels. Despite its size, the 2.5” platform is lightweight and offers deep-ridged arch support, seamlessly blending high-fashion and wear-ability. The padded tongue and collar ensure comfort, whilst the speed-lace system and hiking boot tread pattern add practicality.

Although the chrome plaque logo at the tongue and debossed branding on the heel reflect conventional trainer detailing, the distinct square toe challenges traditional designs.
